MEMORANDUM OPINION1 Paul Victor Simmons was convicted of first degree residential robbery (Penal Code, § 211),2 with an enhancement for personal use of a firearm; and first degree burglary (§ 459). The trial court also found true that Simmons had a prior strike conviction (§ 667, subds. (d), (e)) and a prior serious felony conviction (§ 667, subd. (a)(1)).
