P. v. McCarty CA1/5
Ken R. McCarty pleaded guilty to attempted voluntary manslaughter (Pen. Code, §§ 664, 192, subd. (a))1 in connection with an incident in which he used a semiautomatic pistol to shoot at his then-girlfriend. In this appeal, he challenges the trial court’s decision to deny him probation and to sentence him to prison. Because his challenge lacks merit, we affirm.
