INTRODUCTION Hilda Rodriguez-Guzman worked as a health service coordinator for The Accelerated Schools (TAS). When TAS could no longer accommodate Rodriguez-Guzman’s restrictions in her existing office, TAS put her on leave and told her she could return in three months after TAS remodeled and created a larger office for her. While Rodriguez-Guzman was on leave, TAS eliminated her position and terminated her employment.
