Wave Plastic Surgery Center v. Kim CA2/8
Plaintiff and appellant WAVE Plastic Surgery Center, Inc. (WAVE) appeals an order granting defendant and respondent Tina Kim’s special motion to strike and a related order awarding Kim her attorney fees and costs. WAVE contends the statements Kim posted about WAVE on social media were not made in connection with an issue of public interest. We agree. We consequently reverse both orders and remand.
