Gurovich v. West Hills Surgical Center CA2/7
Dmitry Gurovich appeals from a judgment entered after the court granted West Hills Surgical Center, Ltd.’s (West Hills) motion for summary judgment. Gurovich underwent a colonoscopy at West Hills. He claims that during the procedure, his doctor performed a “hemorrhoidal banding” procedure despite Gurovich’s previous oral refusal to consent to it. Gurovich contends he suffered serious physical and emotional harm as a result.
