Plaintiff James Bort Jones (Bort) sued his brother, defendant Cliff Ownbey Jones (Cliff) over a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that was purchased by their mother in 1979 for Bort’s use but was in Cliff’s possession after her death.1 As part of a settlement reached in early 2021, Cliff agreed to cooperate in transferring the title to Bort.
