P. v. Kindle CA5
-ooOoo- Following a court trial, defendant Ira Russell Kindle, Jr., was convicted of murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and felon in possession of ammunition. The trial court imposed a sentence of 50 years to life, plus five years. Kindle raises a single issue on appeal: whether the court failed to adequately advise him about his right to a jury trial such that his waiver of a jury trial was not knowingly and intelligently made.
