INTRODUCTION A jury convicted defendant Ronald Maldonado of second degree murder, among other crimes. On appeal, defendant contends the trial court prejudicially erred in not instructing the jury on the lesser included offense of voluntary manslaughter based on heat of passion. We affirm the judgment.
