The jury in the underlying employment case awarded plaintiff Jasmine Tran more than $10.7 million in damages, unpaid wages, punitive damages, and statutory penalties against defendant James Hooper, her former supervisor; multiple corporate entities owned by Hooper; and appellant Qin Moody, Hooper’s then-girlfriend and co-operator (with Hooper) of the medical spa where plaintiff worked, called “Don’t Wait 2 Rejuvenate”
