P. v. Flores
A jury convicted defendant Moises Arnaldo Flores of second degree murder (Pen. Code, § 187, subd. (a); all further statutory citations are to the Penal Code unless otherwise noted) and active participation in a criminal street gang (§ 186.22, subd. (a)). The jury found the murder was committed in association with a criminal street gang (§ 186.22, subd. (b)(1)), and a principal in the murder discharged a firearm causing death (§ 12022.53, subds.
