David Richard Booth appeals his conviction by jury for attempted robbery with personal infliction of great bodily injury (Pen. Code, §§ 664/211; 12022.7, subd. (a))[1] and battery causing serious bodily injury (§ 243, subd. (d)). The trial court sentenced appellant to five years state prison.
