P. v. Chavez
Defendant and appellant Carlos Chavez challenges his conviction for carjacking. He argues hearsay evidence was improperly admitted, the prosecutor committed misconduct during her closing argument, and the trial court should have instructed the jury on lesser included offenses. We agree that hearsay evidence was improperly admitted but find that the error was not prejudicial. Court reject defendants remaining contentions and affirm the judgment.
