P. v. Orozco
Gabriel Orozco appeals from the judgment entered following his conviction by a jury of transportation of methamphetamine (Health & Saf. Code, 11379, subd. (a)) and possession for sale of methamphetamine. (Health & Saf. Code, 11378.) The trial court found true allegations of two prior prison terms (Pen. Code, 667.5, subd. (b))[1] and two prior serious or violent felonies within the meaning of California's "Three Strikes" law. ( 1170.12, subds. (a)-(d); 667, subds. (b)-(i).) Appellant was sentenced to prison for 27 years to life: 25 years to life plus two years for the two prior prison terms.
