Contreras v. Wong
Appellant Julio Contreras sued respondent Rico Wong for damages after the two were involved in an automobile accident. Following a court trial, the court refused to award appellant money in the amount he had already received from his insurance carrier. Appellant argues that he was not barred from recovering what he had already been paid by his insurance company, and that the trial court erred in giving preclusive effect to a decision in a prior arbitration between the parties insurance carriers. Court affirm the judgment.
