Chau v. Chau
After a bench trial, the court entered judgment in favor of plaintiff Muoi Thi Chau on her causes of action for breach of contract and money lent against her sister, defendant Kathleen Chau. Defendant appeals, arguing the judgment lacks legal basis because no contract existed between the parties and plaintiff did not lend defendant any money. In other words, defendant contends insufficient evidence supports the judgment. Court affirm.
