P. v. Verduzco
Juan Verduzco was convicted by a jury of first degree murder, possession of a firearm by an ex-felon, and possession of methamphetamine. He claims his trial was riddled with prosecutorial misconduct, his counsel was ineffective, the jury was improperly instructed, and the first degree murder charge is not supported by substantial evidence. Defendant filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus which was consolidated with this appeal. Court affirm the judgment and deny the petition.
