P. v. Ochoa
Alfred Ochoa appeals from the judgment entered following conviction by a jury of possession of methamphetamine. (Health & Saf. Code, 11377, subd. (a).) The court sentenced him to prison for 26 years to life. Appellant contends that the court erroneously failed to suppress statements he made to the police in violation of his Miranda rights (Miranda v. Arizona (1966) 384 U.S. 436), and that his sentence violated his constitutional right to be free from cruel and/or unusual punishment. Court affirm.
