P. v. Minjares
Appellant Sergio E. Minjares appeals from a judgment entered after a jury found him guilty of first degree murder. (Pen. Code, 187, subd. (a).)[1] The jury found true the allegations that appellant committed murder while engaged in the commission of robbery, within the meaning of section 190.2, subdivision (a)(17) and that appellant personally used a firearm, within the meaning of sections 1203.06, subdivision (a)(1), and 12022.5, subdivision (a). The trial court sentenced appellant to life without possibility of parole, plus a consecutive term of 10 years for the firearm enhancement. Court affirm with modifications.
