Richard J. timely appeals the juvenile court's order denying his motion to set aside all prior orders for lack of notice in dependency proceedings involving his son Miciah J. under section 300 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.[1] Appellant contends the juvenile court erroneously denied his motion as untimely. Appellant also alleges ineffective assistance of counsel. We affirm.


BACKGROUND


Miciah J. was born in February 1993, to appellant and mother Shelley E. On March 15, 2001, respondent filed a juvenile dependency petition alleging Miciah J. (Miciah) was a minor suffering severe emotional damage without a parent capable of providing appropriate care, pursuant to section 300, subdivision (c). The petition stated Miciah was detained in the Valley of the Moon Children's Home and listed appellant's last known address in Tukwila, Washington. The petition stated Miciah suffered from depression, threatened staff at Lincoln School, and was taken to Psychiatric Emergency Services on March 12, 2001, for an evaluation after exhibiting â€





Description Appeal from the juvenile court's order denying motion to set aside all prior orders for lack of notice in dependency proceedings involving his son under section 300 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.
