Vicki Pollock was dismissed for cause from a tenured professorship in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California (USC). Pollock's dispute with USC has been the subject of three prior appellate proceedings, all of which were unsuccessful for Pollock. In this appeal, she once again challenges the fairness of having her academic fate decided by a panel comprised of USC faculty members.
