A jury convicted defendant of discharging a firearm at an inhabited dwelling (count 2); possession of a firearm by a felon (count 3); two counts of assault with a firearm (counts 4 and 5); and possession of ammunition by a felon (count 6). It found defendant personally used a firearm in committing counts 2, 4, and 5. It was unable to reach a verdict on a charge of attempted murder (count 1).
Defendant admitted two prior serious felony convictions for first degree burglary in 1990 and two â€
