Carol S.,
the mother of minor Logan, appeals
from the order terminating her parental rights, contending the juvenile court
abused its discretion when it denied her counsel's request for a continuance of
the Welfare and Institutions Code section[1] 366.26 hearing. We affirm.

Appellant
and Logan came to the attention of
the Los Angeles County Department of
Children and Family Services (Department) in April 2006 when it received a
referral of alleged emotional abuse of Logan
while in the home of appellant and maternal grandmother. A team decision making meeting was held, and
the referral was eventually disposed of as â€
