Minor Jeffrey P.,
17 years old at the time of the charged offense, seeks reversal of the rulings
of the juvenile court establishing
wardship and placing him on probation for four years. We affirm the juvenile court's rulings.

>BACKGROUND

A
two-count petition was filed in San Mateo
County juvenile court in May 2009 pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code
section 602. The first count alleged
that on or about March 30, 2009, Jeffrey violated Health
and Safety Code section 11360, subdivision (a), by, among other things, selling
marijuana. The second count alleged that
on or about the same date, Jeffrey violated Health and Safety Code section
11359 by having marijuana in his possession for the purpose of selling it.

Prior
to a November 2009 contested jurisdictional
hearing, the court and the parties discussed Jeffrey's suitability for the
deferred entry of judgment (DEJ) procedure outlined in Welfare and Institutions
Code section 790 et seq. At the
contested jurisdictional hearing, the parties submitted the matter to the
juvenile court based entirely on a report prepared by police in Atherton, California. The report indicated that about 8:40
a.m.
on March 30, 2009, a high school

campus security supervisor saw Jeffrey and Jordan
Graczyk, students at the school, standing near the school's library during the
break between first and second periods.
