P. v. Chhuon
The jury found defendants and appellants Chanthoeurn Chhuon and Srun Ly guilty in count 1 of home invasion robbery (Pen. Code, § 211),[1] in count 2 of assault with a firearm (§ 245, subd. (a)(2)), and in count 3 of making criminal threats (§ 422). Allegations that a principal used a firearm within the meaning of section 12022.53, subdivisions (b) and (e)(1), and that the offenses were committed for the benefit of a criminal street gang, within the meaning of section 186.22, subdivision (b)(1)(C), were found true with respect to both defendants on all counts. The jury also found, as to all counts, that Chhuon personally inflicted great bodily injury within the meaning of section 12022.7, subdivision (a). Chhuon admitted he suffered four prior convictions within the meaning of the three strikes law (§§ 667, subds. (b)-(i), 1170.12, subds. (a)‑(d)) and within the meaning of section 667, subdivision (a)(1). Ly admitted that he suffered two prior convictions within the meaning of the three strikes law and section 667, subdivision (a)(1).

:nod:My comments is Ive read all his cases at no time I saw his name being metion for a acutual physical charged he was just there , Maybe he was threatened by this gang members if he didn't participate, There's no evidence sufficient for him to be charged for!!! That he actually physical committed the cOurts need to recosider his 3 strikes , And just because of his past convictions he's been judged,He's was young committed stupid stuff be he served sentenced , It seems like it was. Set up!!! Double jeopardy that's what there doing once your convicted for a charged a served, can't get re convicted, Now what I dont under stand is he when in the home in defense of other guy that was fighting, And because the knyugen guy heard , what he said he never saw him take anything , doe he have evidence that he took any items or hold him down and taped him, No lack of evdinced and trying to just lay charges on top pictures, of gang members, so because he lives in his brothers home and took pictures holding up signs that's a strike, this new refomart 3 strike law is freeing, other felons that have really committed the crime with evidence and witnesses there free getting innocent people to committ the real crimes for them ,Hes a victim of gang related maybe, fearing f or his life as well if he doesn't participate his not a leader for this gang to charged him as crime and 3 strike ?? My concern is why didn't knuyen get arrested she he was the one selling drugs had money , jelewry lots of cash .that's a crime having marijuana plants even proof on text messg. And his the victim !!! It's so sad how innocent people pay the price while other are still convicting more crimes unsafe neighborhood. Don't give up keep Faith!!! Justice is what we need :rolleyes:
