Morley v. United Parcel Service
Edward Morley appeals from a judgment in favor of his former employer, respondent United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS). In a bifurcated trial, the court found Morley knowingly and voluntarily released all his claims against UPS and granted judgment for UPS on Morley's complaint. The court also found for UPS on its cross-complaint for breach of contract. Morley contends that his claims for statutory overtime, meal and break compensation cannot be released as a matter of law and that the attorney fees awarded UPS are excessive. Court affirm the judgment.
