P. v. Brown
Harold Isaac Brown (appellant), who was convicted of oral copulation of a minor (Pen. Code, 288a, subd. (b)(1)[1]), challenges the trial courts victim restitution order requiring him to pay 70 percent of the victims treatment costs. He contends: (1) the trial court erred in ordering him to pay for the victims treatment because there was no competent evidence that the treatment was necessitated by appellants conduct; (2) the trial court erred in denying his motion for a continuance of the restitution hearing; and (3) no substantial evidence supports the order. Court reject the contentions and affirm.
