Pan-Yu v. Ni
This matter involves a dispute between former business associates which escalated into a lawsuit for defamation. In a special verdict, the jury found one statement to be defamatory, but not the other one. Appellant Jing-Jiang Ni contends the jurys verdict is internally inconsistent because both statements relate to the same course of conduct. Court find no inconsistency and affirm the judgment.
