Attree v. Jimex
Julian Attree (Attree) appeals from an order granting a special motion to strike several causes of action from his complaint pursuant to section 425.16 of the Code of Civil Procedure (section 425.16), the anti SLAPP statute. Court hold that the causes of action that were stricken from Attrees complaint do not arise from protected activity under section 425.16. Therefore, the order granting the special motion to strike must be reversed.
