Marriage of Jones
Appellant Doris Marie Jones (wife) and Eugene Jones (husband) were married in 1992 and separated in 1999. Husband filed a petition for dissolution in 2005 in which he requested that a residence in Santa Maria be confirmed as his separate property. Husband claimed that his signature had been forged on a deed purporting to convey an interest in the property to wife. The trial court found that husband's signature was not genuine, and ordered that the deed be set aside. Wife filed a motion for a new trial, which was denied. She appeals from the denial of her motion. Court affirm.
