Jackson v. Terrell
Carlos A. Jackson appeals a judgment of dismissal following the sustaining of a demurrer to his complaint without leave to amend. The ruling was based on the courts conclusion that the relief sought was barred by the statute of limitations, that appellant could not state a cause of action, and that appellant had not shown postconviction relief or actual innocence of his underlying criminal conviction.
